Legislative Decree No. 231 of June 8, 2001, introduced into the Italian legal framework (in compliance with EU-wide legislation) a new set of ‘administrative’ responsibilities, to be fulfilled by organisations – i.e. companies and legal entities. The new regime covers the prevention and monitoring for certain acts of a criminal nature, being committed or attempted to being committed in the interest of, or for the benefit of the organisations themselves.
In compliance with Legislative Decree 231/01 and in line with its own corporate culture and values, LeasePlan Italia S.p.A. has adopted a Code of Ethics and an Organisational and Management Model geared towards preventing the risk of acts of criminal nature being committed within the company, and has set up a Supervisory Committee that is charged with the responsibility of supervising the implementation and updating of the Model.
The Code of Ethics sets out the ethical and social responsibilities taken on by all those who work in the name, or on the behalf, of LeasePlan Italia S.p.A., both within and outside of the company.
